The Milan Furniture Exhibition, the famed Salone del Mobile, has now become the largest and most important event of its kind in the world. It is always alive with the unique enthusiasm, vitality and positive energy of its participating exhibitors, artists and designers. And this vivacity resonates across the whole city of Milan, in a colossal number of concurrent offsite events, shows, receptions and other unmissable attractions for all those who want to soak up the latest in contemporary design.
“The Milan Salone has high strategic importance for Minotti and our commitment to this yearly event is, naturally, long term”, says Mr. Antonio Marelli, the Minotti Resident Area Manager for Asia, adding: “The increasing number of professional visitors from Asia attending the Salone generates significant benefits for us. And the fact that, during the Salone, the whole city of Milan becomes the matchless capital of design, art, lifestyle and gastronomy, strongly enhances, for our Asian business partners, the value of their visit”.
The 2016 Salone will again be in the Milan fairgrounds in Rho, between April 12 – 17, 2016.
Two biennials will be back. One is Eurocucina, a showcase of kitchen equipment and furnishings. The other is the International Bathroom Equipment and Furnishing Exhibition. Noteworthy are also the yearly Furnishing Accessories Exhibition and the Salone Satellite, the collateral show that hosts young creative designer talents under 35. The Salone will also be surrounded by numerous complementary exhibitions, installations and live events in Milan.
The Salone will no doubt attract numerous buyers, project managers, contractors, retailers, architects and interior decorators from around the world, for all of whom this event is of prime importance.
Open hours for all exhibitions in Rho will be from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m, from April 12 – 17, 2016. The Salone is open for professionals from the April 12 until and including the April 17. Public days are Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 April.
