Minotti presented its most recent collection at the 2019 Milan Salone

Categories: Exhibitions

In a week full of fascinating activities, presentations and displays, the Milan Salone again emerged as the most important event of its kind in the world.

Minotti was present with its exceptionally well curated 2019 collection, directed and managed by its Design Director, Rodolfo Dordoni, whose originality and methodical care shone through in all details.

The Company is now in the process of transforming the current language of its designs into a gentler, softer and more rotund aesthetic.  To this end, Rodolfo Dordoni has engaged, among others, the designers Christophe Delcourt, Nendo, Gam Fratesi and Marcio Kogan’s Studio MK27. The contributions of these gifted and renowned designers should revive Minotti’s brand identity in the expected direction.

Christophe Delcourt’s curvaceous sofa designs express fully the new shapes that Minotti furnishings are now taking.

The West and Lawson sets, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni in the spirit of the new Minotti aesthetics,  offer inventive assemblages of outdoor tables, armchairs, and sofas, which are accented by elegant teak grid panels.

The Brazilian studio MK27, directed by Marcio Kogan has developed, on its part, a very graceful and imaginative set of outdoor tables, armchairs and sofas.

Minotti exhibited at the 2nd Salone del Mobile.Shanghai show

Categories: Exhibitions

Minotti took part in the 2017 Salone del Mobile.Shanghai.

Minotti considers this occasion as vital for acquiring a deeper knowledge and experience of the Chinese business environment, its opportunities and its requirements.

The Minotti exhibit was considerably larger than last year’s and presented a significant part of the current collection.

Mr Antonio Marelli, the Minotti Resident Area Manager for Asia, has spoken out about the need to consider exhibitions, such as the Salone del Mobile.Shanghai, as an inestimable source of insight into the Chinese market, with which Minotti is now quite deeply involved. There is a very strong and well justified tendency these days to opt strongly for trade fairs and rather less for other business channels, mainly because trade fairs let us establish those solid person to person contacts which lead almost naturally to important business transactions. It is the face to face interaction, as it develops at trade fairs, that is immensely valuable.

During the Salone del Mobile.Shanghai, Minotti ran a shuttle service from the Exhibition Center to and from the Minotti / Domus Tiandi dealership in town. Guests at the Exhibition Center could comfortably attend both the daily presentations and events at Domus Tiandi as well as the evening party and receptions that were planned for local architects, designers, interior decorators, project managers and members of the press.

The beautifully designed Minotti 2017 collection was displayed in deluxe settings at the recent Milan Salone

Categories: Exhibitions, News

Minotti is a forward thinking and creative furnishing firm, with a vision to introduce strong concepts of Culture and Lifestyle to interior and exterior design. This was amply demonstrated by the Company’s striking display at this year’s Milan Salone.

The Salone was the perfect occasion to set the launch of Minotti’s newest collection, which comprised a series of new indoors and outdoors products, designed and developed under the gifted guidance of star architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni.

Grand surfaces attracted visitors from the outside to the inside of Minotti’s showroom. Flooring overlays and carpets created interesting horizontal space sections. To produce distinct vertical dividers, high wooden panels, patterned wall textiles and generous vegetation were employed with great skill and finesse. Together with the elegant, flush-mounted, paired ceiling lights, the display created a cohesive and very convincing look and feel.

Occupying 2000 square meters and stretching over two floors, Minotti’s Salone showroom gave people a unique occasion to discover the Company’s latest products in all their fascinating beauty. The vast display area offered ample spaces for the exhibited pieces and let visitors relax comfortably, while they examined and discussed the information they collected.

Guests could engage very closely with this year’s collection. And they could readily appreciate the newly available materials, fabrics, colours and finishes, which customize individual pieces in many creative ways.

The 2017 collection astonishes with its modernity, yet it is anchored in the solid tradition of classical Minotti craftsmanship. Only the genius of Rodolfo Dordoni could excel at making this fusion highly successful.

Among the standout pieces deployed at the Salone were the Florida, Halley Outdoor and Colette Outdoor seating units.

“Minotti’s intent at this year’s Salone was to attract strong international attention … and it certainly succeeded” remarked Mr Antonio Marelli.
